The Townsend Revolution in Sausage Making

QX (Quality Coextrusion) is a combination of a process and product that Townsend has created to alter the state of sausage making. With the QX system, there is minimal manual labor necessary. The safety, sanitation, and hygienics of the QX are unmatched in the industry.

The Townsend QX System combines the world's preeminent coextrusion technologies. It is an automated process that simultaneously extrudes a continuous flow of meat batter and a thin outside layer of gel, making the casing as the sausage is produced.

QX Dry Sausage System

Process diameters from 8mm to 43mm and lengths from 25 mm to more than 800 mm. Make snack sticks, pepperettes and salami sticks.
