At Townsend, nothing remains the same very long. That is particularly true for the injector market. First came the low-pressure injector, with small-diameter hypodermic-style needles. Evolution took us to the 1450 Injector, an industry standard.  The introduction of the PI Series of injectors has continued Townsend's tradition of innovative, reliable injecting solutions.

Model 1450 Injector
  • A proven standard for the bacon, poultry and fish markets.
    • Utilizes a four stage multi-filter system, plus a power Rotary Drum filter to keep needles totally open.
    • 175 smaller diameter, hypodermic needles in combination with a unique accumulator system gives your product maximum brine retention.
    • Low-pressure injection allows for less pickle pockets and better distribution.

New! IN 33-430 Injector
  • Accurately injects pork bellies.  Standard deviations are the lowest in the industry.
    • An updated touch screen offers a color screen and the ability to store mulitple reciples with naming capabilities for easy changeover.
    • A multistage filter system can run an eight-hour shift without a full system clean.  Individual filters can be cleaned during operation.
    • The head includes 205 needles with the ability to inject 15% wider bellies compared to the Model 1450.

PI Injector
  • Cures/marinates a wide variety of products, bone-in or boneless.
    • tilting head gives quick and easy access to the needles making cleanings and maintenance more convenient.
    • Electonic control of both stroke speed and brine pressure ensures injection perfection -- consistently accurate distribution of injection fluid.
    • High-level bleed outlet enables easy priming of the pump.

PMT
  • Tenderize and shape hams and shoulders to perfection.
